Go ON Get Local toolkit
We've developed the Go ON Get Local demand programmes strategy, which scales down the UK wide challenge to help 8.12 million people get online into a series of manageable local initiates known publicly as Go ON + ‘get local name'.
Through sustained support with a local approach, Go ON Get Local leverages the support of our key national partners at a local level and inspire digital champions to get active wherever they live, work or play.
In 2011-2012, Race Online 2012 is supporting the development and evaluation of two Go ON Get Local models, Go ON Leeds and Go ON it’s Liverpool and local projects include Go ON Barnsley, Go ON Doncaster, Go ON Sheffield, Go ON Middleton and Go ON Whitland. The vision is for these initiatives to be delivered by local authorities in partnership with a range of local and committed cross-sector partners.
Learnings from these Go ON Get Local projects inform a roadmap to help other local authorities create their own initiatives - please email emily@go-on-uk.org. The marketing toolkit is available below. This brings together a useful selection of written and digital content for you to adopt and adapt, with helpful examples from Go ON Leeds and Go ON it’s Liverpool.
